Develop and promote WE CARE as an organization: Develop a WE CARE logo that communicates the organization's vision Develop a communication website Encourage membership, participation, and leadership in other GI organizations Establish a regular meeting schedule (twice yearly) at DDW and ACG Establish a leadership structure and nomination procedure for membership and WE CARE officers Provide training programs: Establish a scholarship/mentoring opportunity for a young woman investigator in IBD Establish travel award for young women fellows/investigators to attend major GI meetings Identify leadership/presentation skill training for each meeting Advocate for members and patients with IBD: Develop a slide set/lecture series of "Women's Issues in IBD" Generate greater participation and visibility on expert panels and at scientific meetings
